Artist statement:

The idea for this came from a walk I made in the forest close to home in Vedauwoo near Laramie WY. The tree was so large: strong with large trunk and branches. The sunny day lit some of the foliage and cast shadows on the ground. In my mind this print had to be a tall format to capture the way I saw it. If you look close enough you will see two figures walking along the trail
