White marsh marigold is commonly found in wet areas (on lakeshores, in springs and near wetlands) throughout the Snowies as the snow melts. I love to sit trailside near Lewis Lake and the waterfall across the road from Lake Marie and take in these unique flowers. One of the main attractions for me is the large, heart-shaped leaves that curl around each other and the flowers.
