Print of the July 2020 Rainbow Pathways Community Mural
Original mural was designed by Laramie High School students and painted by the Laramie community at ArtConnect Gallery
This mural highlights the dynamic mysterious underground of the Casper Aquifer which supplies the Laramie community with pristine quality groundwater. Snow melt and rain captured on the Laramie Range east of Laramie Wyoming seeps through the cracked limestone into layers of the sandstone "sponge" and filters through the myriad of pathways, flowing in the dark. City Springs in Laramie is where the water is forced to the surface and into the light. Inspired by local hydro-geology together with Aboriginal Indigenous wisdom.
Original mural measures 10' x 52"
