Original mural was designed by Laramie High School students and painted by participants of the 2018 Shepard Symposium on Social Justice

The mural celebrates the Laramie River, which gifts the Laramie community with 50% of the water flowing into the Albany County homes. West of Laramie Wyoming is the Snowy Range Mountains, which are a major part of the Laramie River watershed. The mural is inspired by Aboriginal wisdom
