Erika Babbitt-Rogers: Horsehair Jewelry

Erika creates hand-braided horse hair jewelry, including keychains, necklaces, bracelets, boot bling, earrings, and hatbands. 

Erika Babbitt Rogers was born and raised in Wyoming.  She has always been fascinated by the old-time arts.  Since horses have always played a huge role in her life, it is no surprise that horsehair braiding and hitching have become one of her passions.  She enjoys making new and unique items from horsehair and is happy to know this form of art will not be lost.

Erika and her family (which includes her husband, daughter, horses, dogs, cat, chickens, turkeys, ducks, rabbits, and earthworms!) live in Laramie, Wyoming.
