"Candle Tower, Green Patina Tower" Mixed Media Sculpture

This unusual piece evokes an impression of a much larger edifice highlighting the  aged beauty of its naturally formed green and red patina on copper sheet

It was fabricated from a well-worn copper tray on which the patina had developed over a thirty year period. The brass elements are hand-riveted to the copper and add a subtle style to the design without distracting from the magnificent patina surface

The structure opens to the inside space by way of two vertical gaps from top to bottom on opposing vertical corners so that an LED light placed inside might reflect to the outside and add a subtle glow to the patina surfaces

Metal surfaces have been treated with archival wax to protect the patina. Do not clean with solvent.

Not suitable for flame candles.
