The Pronghorn ( many times called "antelope") is the fastest land mammal in North America, with speeds up to 65+ miles per hour.  It's hairs are hollow, which helps keep it warm in the winter time. The Horns are made of hair, not bone. The black, outer sheath is bound to the pedicle of bone, inside the sheath, by connective tissue.

As a flight animal, generally they are observed running away, displaying their iconic "white butts"
