Original mural was designed by Paul Taylor, Mandi Pollard and Barb Farley and painted by the 18 students plus the teachers in Harmony and Centennial elementary schools in Wyoming
Depicting the Snowy Range in the Medicine Bow Mountains, this mural celebrates the beautiful land, mountains, plains and the Laramie River watershed. Look closely at this print and you will see symbols designating the schools, local ranches, along with lakes, reservoirs and the water treatment plant. The wind eroded Big Hollow, just off of state highway 130 is also shown in this mural. The mural is inspired by Aboriginal culture and indigenous wisdom of " Caring for Country."
