Print of the May 2021 Pilot Hill Rainbow Community Mural
Original mural was designed by Laramie High School students and painted by the Laramie community
The mural is a symbolic topographical map of Albany County region and tells the unique "water story". Pilot Hill Recreation Area protects 13% of the Casper Aquifer recharge zone. The Casper Aquifer supplies the city of Laramie with a large part of its drinking water. See how the rain and snow seep underground, flowing downhill to emerge into the many springs around Laramie. The Laramie River is also represented as the symbolic Rainbow serpent. Painted using Aboriginal dot style painting makes this a very unique piece.
Original mural measures 10' x 52"
