One of my favorite places to get away from it all is on the trails between the Blair Picnic Area and Vedauwoo. Sunny exposure makes the valley a perfect place to find a lot of sagebrush and plant species associated with it, like Indian paintbrush. In this case, it’s yellow paintbrush - I love how the lemon yellow bracts and purple-ish stems stand out against the soft, sagey green of the sagebrush.
